I’m tired…

This week have been intense, that’s for sure. 7 work out sessions in 5 days, that’s a bit more than I’m used to and today,  friday evening I can feel it. I can feel it bad. As a matter of fact, I’ve felt it for a couple of days and after the triple session tuesday I’ve been struggling every morning to get up.

General feeling: These sets are a bit strange. First and second is semi-hard, 1-2-3 reps are OK but the last 4-5 is quite hard. Third and fourth set it easy, and not equally hard, and fifth is brutal! Good muscle connection though and I think I’ve managed to activate the biceps as well. Next time it’s 97,5 kilos and I’m closing in to those desireable 100 kilos!

Overhead Press

General feeling: Same pattern again, failing on fourth set. I mean, this one is hard no matter the weight, and I’m pretty sure I’m doing it semi-right, but not 100% correct. Oh well, I’ll keep on struggling here and we’ll see where it ends up. 42,5 kilos next time again

Deadlift
5 x 117,5 kilos

General feeling: I thought I would reach a fail on deadlift soon, but these 117,5 kilos actually felt eaiser than I imagined, even after the brutal squats today. Next time I will hit 120 kilos and that would be fun, it’s another milestone of mine.

Actually…
I’ve been noticing that during bench press it’s my arms that is failing in strenght and not my chest, so I thought I’d add some drills for biceps. I did the standing barbel curl with 10 kilos plus bar and I did 4 sets with 8 reps and it felt pretty decent. I tried to follow up with an angled, sitting bicep curl with 7 kilo dumbells, but that was just wierd and rather rough. I made like 10 reps and then I was out of muscles… I just hope that I have the energy to continue with these two drills after each gym session, I would generate some more strenght in my arms. I think
